This season is filled with gatherings aplenty, and no guest likes to arrive at the party empty-handed…
As Fall is the start of the busy season- with football starting up, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, the list goes on.
Keeping up with regular life schedules and adding in the holidays, it can get pretty hectic!
So easy! Just add butter and love! (and a few other ingredients which are listed below.)
The How-To:
Your local craft store, grocery market, or even the dollar store should have most of the items needed. And for some, you may find some of the items already in your kitchen cabinets!
Craft Supplies & Adorning the Jar
Ingredients
It’s all about layers this season!
Ingredients needed when baking // Add to instruction tags!
Preheat oven to 350°F. Transfer contents of the jar to a large mixing bowl and mix well.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. You may need a second baking sheet depending on how large you making the dough balls. Spray with non-stick baking spray.
Add in the contents of the jar to a large mixing bowl and mix well.
I recommend separating the chocolate chips and adding them back in at the end.
Mix in the butter and the large egg using an electric mixer at medium speed. Be careful not to over mix, just until the dough is smooth. This should take about two minutes, give or take.
If you separated the chocolate chips, you can now add them back in. I recommend using a wooden spoon and folding them into the dough.
Then you’re ready to place the dough onto the baking sheets! Roll into little balls and lightly press down on them with your thumb.
Small cookies take about 8-10 minutes to bake and large cookies should take about 10- 13 minutes. Time also depends on ‘squishy-ness’ preference.
Grab a cold glass of milk & sip, dip, and snuggle while enjoying these super yummy chocolate chip cookies!
These adorable cookie jars make the perfect quick, easy, affordable and thoughtful gift for any occasion!
